Chloe Kenney
Public Relations

Barbara Cochrane
MSVU Alumni, President of NSAWA, NS Delegate and Eastern Superdelegate of CAWO
As a friend of the family, I have personally known Chloe Kenney since she was a young child. I have watched her grow into a mature and responsible young woman. Over the years, she has shown herself to be dedicated in every aspect of the commitments to which she has put her mind to doing. Whether it be coaching or actually wrestling or participating in organizing events, Chloe has always taken her tasks seriously and fulfilled her duties to the best of her ability.
Recently, in my capacity as President of the Nova Scotia Amateur Wrestling Association, I required a person to take the role of conducting a post-Canada Games survey of athletes, coaches, managers, and parents. Chloe offered to design the survey and interpret the results. As she is studying Public Relations, this was a win-win situation for both her and our organization. She would have the opportunity to put her new skills to use and I would have a qualified person to conduct the study.
Chloe’s design was short and straight-forward, yet encompassed all of the requirements which were deemed necessary. She met all the deadlines as set by NSAWOA. She provided, as we asked, two interpretations of the results, one for the general membership and a more detailed version for the High Performance coach.
We will continue to use her skills in the future in a public relations aspect and are pleased to see her present at tournaments and meetings.

Communications Professional
While working as part of a small communications team, I was involved in the hiring process of communications students. During this time, I hired Chloe for her first work term.
Over the four months that Chloe worked with us, I oversaw many of her daily tasks and worked closely with her on a number of projects. This included providing her with guidance and feedback. On several occasions, she was tasked with last minute requests and always took them on with enthusiasm, often completing them before the deadline. She was never afraid to ask if she had questions or if something was not clear.
Chloe demonstrated that she could work independently and as part of a team. Her determination and willingness to learn was apparent during the time we worked together. She brings energy and enthusiasm to everything that she does and is extremely efficient. Chloe was a pleasure to work with and for these reasons, I would recommend her for any communications position that she pursues.

Public Relations Student at Mount Saint Vincent University
To describe Chloe in a few words (or even a few pages, for that matter) would be impossible to do, however, I will do my best to do her some form of justice through as few words as possible.

When I first met Chloe in my second year at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, it was easy to pick her out in a crowd. A fiery, red head with a bubbly personality – someone who I could see myself meshing with right away.

To my surprise, Chloe was not only the bubbly person whom I had assumed she would be, but what I didn’t yet know, was that she was one of the most kind, gentle hearted, hard working girls I have ever met. Over the years of knowing Chloe, she has dedicated so much time to helping me succeed in both my studies and in life in general. She has been (and I have a feeling always will be) my open ear to go to with anything I need her for. Chloe has always stood out amongst classmates for being eager to help anyone in need, and going above and beyond to ensure success in all that she does.

I’ve watched Chloe excel in all positions both in the work force and in a classroom setting, and someone who anyone feels comfortable and able to speak to at any time.

As I stated earlier, summing Chloe up in a few paragraphs, or even a few pages, wouldn’t do her much justice as her loyalty, patience and dedication is something that is truly impossible to put into words.

Looking forward to watching my fiery redhead take the Public Relations world by storm in the future.
